The Issue
These days process servers come and go. Additionally most service companies are inserting a server’s digital signature into affidavits willie-nilly like a rubber stamp. But has that digital signature truly been “Certified” by the server that everything in that affidavit was true and accurate, that their signature actually was inserted into a filled affidavit by the server? A lot of times, IT HASN’T, and that could get every affidavit that has a digital signature inserted by office personnel voided by the Court. Just think of that headache.
The Cure
eCertification Affidavit via CyberSygn is the cure to this potentially huge issue by having a video certification of every server certifying that their digital signature is truly certifying that all the information noted in the affidavit is true.
The e Certification Affidavit Process
Each day the server logs on to CyberSygn portal (APP pending) and pulls up the Affidavit(s) to be certified noting the Plaintiff(s), Defendant(s), Subject of Service, and case #.
The server then certifies on video via their smartphone or computer that they signed or inserted said digital signature into the affidavit thereby affirming that: a) all information in the Affidavit is true and correct, and b) that said insertion of their signature is truly theirs.
Once finished the certification process with “eCertification Affidavit via CyberSygn Watermark'' will be automatically inserted into the affidavit (aka Seal of Approval & good for marketing). At that time the Certified Affidavit will be ready for eFiling in said Court.
